Cereal Killers is a game that features special mechanics such as wild symbols, symbol splitting, a jackpot system, and free games mode. The following sections describe its gameplay features and rules.
Cereal Killer Feature
- Any WILD that lands in view can activate the Cereal Killer character above that reel.
- The Cereal Killer character selects adjacent symbols at random to split, producing more ways to win.
- Adjacent symbols are those surrounding the WILD symbol vertically, horizontally, and diagonally.
Reel and Symbol Splits
- Reel 2 (Leprechaun): Splits 2 symbols, 2 ways.
- Reel 3 (Tiger): Splits 4 symbols, 4 ways.
- Reel 4 (Monkey): Splits 3 symbols, 3 ways.
- Symbols cannot be split more than once per spin.
- WILD, BONUS, and Jackpot Cereal symbols cannot be split.
- There may be cases where a Cereal Killer character cannot split the full number of symbols.
Base Game Conditions
- Cereal Killers only activate when there are winning ways present in the base game.
Cereal Bowl Jackpot
- When Jackpot Cereal symbols and overlays land on the reels, they are added to the Cereal Bowl.
- There is a random chance that this will trigger the Jackpot Picker feature.
Jackpot Picker
- Players are prompted to select doors to reveal a Jackpot symbol or Golden Spoon.
- Match 3 of the same Jackpot symbols to win the prize and end the feature.
- Jackpots have the following bet multipliers:
- Mini: 10x
- Minor: 50x
- Major: 250x
- Grand: 1250x
Golden Spoon Modifier
- Matching 3 Golden Spoons in the Jackpot Picker allows for the selection of a modifier.
- Modifiers are:
- x4 Jackpot: Applies a 4x multiplier to all Jackpot Prizes.
- Pick Again: After winning one jackpot, continue picking for a second jackpot.
- Picking continues until either an x4 Jackpot or two regular jackpots are awarded, depending on the modifier.
- Each Jackpot can only be awarded once per round.
Free Games
- Landing 3, 4, or 5 BONUS symbols triggers 9, 10, or 12 Free Games, respectively.
- During Free Games, any WILD on the reels triggers the Cereal Killer character, and the WILD is locked in position for the duration of the Free Games.
- On each spin, random symbols are selected to split under the same rules as the base game.
- Free Games use the same total bet, awards, and win combinations as the base game that triggered the feature.
- If Free Games and the Jackpot Picker are triggered simultaneously, the Jackpot Picker is played first, followed by Free Games.
